The new park changes are awesome, i just wish it wasnt as crowded last time I went. As a BMX rider, the new flybox is great, me and my friends have been going to B3 for the big flyboxes, now we can ride the one at XW.
It looks like you're building a new street section where the old flybox is, is that what it's gonna be? You tore out my favorite box, the one where the spine is now.
Anyways, its good to see XW changing and evolving for the better. Keep it up!

I am most pleased you like the park changes. In order for the park to remain challenging, we need to change things up each year. It was a tough decision to take out the fun box, but in the end it seemed the right thing to do. The street set is going to stay as you see it now, just a few changes there. We have to complete some ledges yet that we are reusing from the fun box. In the end, I hope everyone appreciates the hard work the men did to make XW fun and exciting.
Thanks for your kind words, it means a lot me.

I like the concept of the new setup, but there are a couple things I see hindering the use of it. The new spine section, has the big quarter on one side, then the 4 foot after it... trying to keep flow going on that little 4 foot quarter is going to be hard. The other thing I noticed is trying to get speed to hit the flybox on anything other than a bike is going to be crazy. If it was like a foot lower, or it had a bigger quarter leading to it, i could see it being more used.
But as always, changing the park up is always a good idea. Keeping things fresh for everyone I like. I just miss my mini flybox =( haha.

I will forward your thoughts to the guys that reworked the park. They did a great job reusing ramps that were deconstructed in the past. Your input is valued and appreciated Matt!

Yea, to be completely honest most of my friends think it's tough to get speed for the flybox even on a bike, and as soon as you drop in you're right at the flybox, so you don't have any time to collect your thoughts...Everything has pros and cons though I guess. Virginia - Is there any chance of a new pyramid/ledge setup where the old miniflybox was? My favorite ledge got ripped out when you moved the spine
